Job summary

J Browne Construction is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on UK construction sites. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage labour and materials, and ensure work aligns with design, quality standards and safety regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on site experience. The position covers sites in Kent, Sussex and Hampshire with a 45-hour week and permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction sites within water/wastewater utilities, with a track record of safely delivering work on time and to specification.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills, with confidence managing teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of health, safety, quality and regulatory compliance, supported by hands-on site experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on programme and within budget.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors, manage labour, plant and materials, and ensure works meet design, quality and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, maintain site records, and drive productivity while upholding health, safety and compliance.
