Job summary

Premises Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee commercial fit out and warehouse refurbishment projects across London and the Home Counties. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will supervise site activities from start to handover, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to high quality standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage programme progress, maintain safety records, and liaise with clients and the project team on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor on commercial fit out or warehouse refurbishment projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme.
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification is preferred; CSCS Card required; First Aid at Work preferred; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations on commercial fit out and warehouse refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor programme progress and assist in maintaining project deadlines.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and material allocations.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and health & safety documentation.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise programme delays.
• Support the successful delivery of projects from start through to handover.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee projects valued up to £2.5 million.

The Role:

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry.
• Experience delivering commercial fit out and/or warehouse refurbishment projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme.
• A proactive and hands on approach to problem solving.
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.
