Job summary

Office Angels in Ashford, Kent is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee installation and fit-out projects across the UK. You will lead on-site teams, manage subcontractors, monitor safety, quality and schedule, and report into the Project Management team.

The role requires SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work, and Working at Height, plus a full UK driving licence. Salary is £35,000 with standard hours and overtime potential; pension and private health options may follow probation.

Job description

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced project environment?

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering large-scale installation and fit-out projects across commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee projects from mobilisation through to successful completion.

This role is ideal for someone with strong site leadership experience, excellent health & safety knowledge, and a proven ability to manage site teams while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer service.

Location: Ashford, Kent but covering the UK

Salary: £35,000

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 to 17:00, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Overtime paid before 8:00 and after 17:00h with the potential to earn an additional £3-£5k in overtime.

Please note you will be provided with:

• A Van + fuel card. This role involves a lot of driving but you will be supported by the company.

The Role:

Reporting into the Project Management team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required specification.

Your key responsibilities would include:

• Supervising all on-site activities from start to finish
• Leading site teams and subcontractors
• Conducting site inductions and daily safety briefings
• Ensuring compliance with RAMS and all health & safety requirements
• Monitoring working practices and maintaining a strong safety culture
• Reviewing drawings and site instructions
• Coordinating labour, materials, plant and deliveries
• Managing project progress against programme deadlines
• Carrying out quality inspections and audits
• Managing snagging and project close-out activities
• Maintaining site records, diaries, and documentation
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders on site
• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and site procedures
• Escalating issues and implementing corrective actions where required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager or similar position
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and health & safety legislation
• Experience leading installation or fit-out teams on live project sites
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Confidence managing client relationships and subcontractors
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Full UK driving licence
