Job summary

Galliford Try — Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Site Supervisor to support production functions on multi‑million security projects in the UK. You will report to the Project Manager and Site Manager to safeguard quality, safety, and profitability across a regional team.

Key duties include leading on-site safety, supervising daily construction activities, maintaining records, coordinating subcontractors and supply chain partners, and driving planning with project teams to meet programme

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC level).
• Experience leading or supporting teams in a construction environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and deliver work to quality standards.
• Knowledge of site documentation and business management systems.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and wellbeing on site.

Responsibilities

• Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive working environment for everyone on site
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, permits, and quality checks
• Support planning and programming with project teams and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with approved methods, designs, and quality standards
• Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners to achieve programme and budget targets
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Ensure risk assessments (RAMS), COSHH assessments, and permits are in place and followed
• Attend and contribute to site meetings to support effective communication and delivery
• Assist with site setup and pre-construction activities
