Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Site Supervisor for its Asset Intelligence team in London. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality site works with strong leadership of on-site teams and subcontractors.

You will be based in or around London or Oxfordshire to travel between GTAI offices, coordinating with Site Manager and delivery partners to ensure programme and budget compliance. Relevant qualifications (CSCS/SMSTS) are required and IT proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on MEPH projects and site delivery.
• Confident communicator with site teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams under pressure.
• IT literate; able to use Office 365 and manage site documentation.
• Holds CSCS and SMSTS qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Help create and maintain a Knowingly Safe working environment on site.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of site-based construction works.
• Maintain accurate site records at all times.
• Ensure working methods and quality meet required standards.
• Manage subcontractor supply chain to deliver on programme and within budget.
• Ensure temporary and permanent works align with approved designs and specifications.
• Support planning and programming with the Site Manager and delivery team.
• Attend site coordination meetings to aid smooth delivery.
• Ensure RAMS, COSHH assessments and Permit to Work are in place and followed before work starts.
• Lead site inductions, deliver toolbox talks, supervise subcontractors and keep site records.
• Support pre-construction activities ahead of main contract works.
