Job summary

Galliford Try Asset Intelligence is looking for a Site Manager to lead day-to-day construction activities on a Thames Water Security Upgrade site in the Thames Valley area. You will coordinate subcontractors, designers and stakeholders, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality and programme.

The role reports to the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager and requires maintainance of records, lookahead programmes and on-site safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering site-based construction projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, designers and client representatives.
• Strong focus on health, safety, quality and programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities and subcontractors on the Thames Water Security Upgrade site.
• Maintain short-term lookaheads and ensure RAMS, permits and briefings are in place.
• Maintain site diaries, records and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Coordinate site meetings, procurement, and budget monitoring.
• Review lift plans, temporary works, and site control documents.
• Ensure CDM compliance and safe access controls on site.
• Support inspections, quality checks and handover evidence.
