About the role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing yard-based operations, maintaining stocks, and organising the yard. The role includes driving & delivering cylinders to customers and supporting day-to-day administrative tasks within the office, ensuring inputs are processed accurately within required time scales.

What you will be doing

• Supervising the site in accordance with business and legislative requirements
• Supporting safe management practices to meet compliance and fostering a safety culture
• Ensuring transport compliance, including vehicle maintenance, driver’s hours, and tachograph regulations, along with working time directive regulations
• Managing stocks and financial controls within the operating system (CODAS)
• Following Flogas operating procedures and work instructions
• Supervising Yard Hands
• Rotating opening and closing of the site
• Driving effective team working with a professional and positive approach
• Acting as emergency controller during holiday and sickness cover
• Handling LPG cylinders, including occasional driving and delivery to maintain service levels
• Supporting vehicle loading activities
• Maintaining site stocks according to business demands
• Experience of working in a high-paced environment
