Job Description

As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee resources involved in the repair and maintenance of the wastewater network across specified areas for our client. Your responsibilities include supervising operational repair and maintenance activities such as fixing burst mains, leak repairs, stop tap repairs, and equipment installation. You will ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and meets client expectations, with a focus on health and safety and customer service.

You will also work closely with the scheduling team to ensure timely delivery of work, communicate with impacted customers, and strive to improve customer satisfaction as measured by C-MeX scores. Leadership in influencing service ratings and ensuring high standards at local sites are key aspects of your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of water repair and maintenance teams
• Organize labor efficiently, including recruitment, discipline, wages, and absence management
• Manage resources such as materials and equipment
• Ensure accurate documentation of work, including photographs and asset details
• Conduct regular site visits to review progress and standards
• Lead team briefings, coaching, and development
• Perform team inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Act as a Health & Safety Representative, conducting workplace inspections and incident investigations

Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications such as NRWSA at supervisory level
• Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
• Utilities sector experience
• Supervisor Street Works qualification
• Knowledge of deep excavation
• Financial and commercial awareness
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Full UK Driving Licence
• First Aid at Work certification
• Abrasive Wheels certification
