We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Site Supervisor with expertise in Power Transformers installation and commissioning. In this role, you will act as the key link between the factory, site operators, and customers, ensuring seamless transformer installation and commissioning while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
This role is not a full-time on-site position—expect a 60% travel requirement, with the remaining time spent in a hybrid work setup (office/home) as agreed with management.

Lichfield Road manufacturing facility has been originally established in 1903 and has been standing since 1960 as a part of the English Electric group, delivering power transformers, later merged into GEC Alsthom and then became ALSTOM, acquired by GE in 2015. Stafford is ideally suited for research and advanced manufacturing with our highly skilled staff and strategic location at the heart of the UK's transport network. GE is proud to be the largest employer in Stafford, with around 1,700 employees across multiple sites.
The transformer facility is renowned worldwide for its expertise in the design, manufacturing, and delivery of HVAC and HVDC transformers up to 800kV.
