Exciting Opportunity: Site Supervisor at Wernick Refurbished Buildings!

Location: Ideally within 1.5 hours of our depot in York, but the role will be based on site, requiring regular work away from home.

The Role: Site Supervisor

As our Site Supervisor, you’ll oversee on-site operations for modular building projects, including delivery, installation, fit-outs, and finishing. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, liaise with clients, and manage daily site activities to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness. This role offers variety and impact.

About The Role

Manage on-site project programs in collaboration with the Project Team and Production Director, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet WRB’s standards and client expectations.

Day-to-day Duties

• Manage operational aspects of modular building installation and fit-out.
• Oversee delivery, craneage, and installation of units and services.
• Serve as the main on-site contact for subcontractors and clients.
• Provide weekly site reports.
• Supervise site installations and dismantles.
• Conduct site inductions and ensure RAMS compliance.
• Report project variations.
• Inspect potential buildings, report quality, and estimate removal costs.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders.
• Issue permits, approvals, and risk assessments.
• Manage waste segregation and disposal.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site, requiring travel and away-from-home work.
• Follow company procedures and keep the Project Director informed.
• Meet client deadlines and monitor project costs.
• Implement and revise project programs as needed.
• Maintain current H&S documentation.
• Manage subcontractors.
• Have knowledge of off-site construction and modular installation processes.
• Communicate professionally with clients.
• Support project completion under pressure.
• Assist as a finisher when not managing your site.

• CSCS card (essential).
• CPCS A61/A62 Lift Supervisor or Black Card (desired).
