Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a competent Site Supervisor for a small school refurbishment project. You will lead a small crew, maintain safety and quality, and report to senior management. The role may involve liaising with clients and consultants and updating site records.

Basic decorating duties could be expected on a small works contract. SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid at Work are required, along with strong communication and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS certification and First Aid at Work are required.
• Strong communication and H&S awareness are essential.
• Willingness to lead from the front and manage a small team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure works are completed to quality standards and in a safe manner.

Job description

A thriving, locally based contractor about to commence a small school refurb scheme is seeking in the form of a competent and diligent Site Supervisor.

In addition to having a relevant project history, the usual SMSTS (or possibly SSSTS) & First aid at work will be required together with good communication, excellent H & S awareness and a willingness to lead from the front.

You'd be responsible responsible for the day to day supervision of a small workforce, ensuring the work is executed with quality in mind and in a safe manner. Reporting into a Senior management team, you'll also potentially have some liaison with the client, consultants and the supply chain and be responsible for updating site diaries and records. Additionally, as this is a small works contract, if you're happy to assist with basic decorating that would be greatly appreciated!
