Job summary

Bimplus in Plymouth is seeking a ticketed Site Supervisor/Manager to oversee a residential conversion scheme turning a home into a care facility. You will manage day-to-day delivery on site, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate subcontractors.

The role requires maintaining site diaries, flagging issues early, and leading from the front with strong communication and safety awareness. This is a short-term 6-week contract, starting ASAP, within commuting distance to Plymouth.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification required.
• First aid at work is required.
• Strong H&S awareness and leadership on site.

We're working with a well respected and adaptable local construction services provider that are about to undertake a residential home into a care support facility in the heart of Plymouth.

The scheme, featuring structural alterations and general refurbishment works, commences mid August and will require a ticketed Site Supervisor/Manager to manage the day to day delivery on site including H & S, quality control and sub-contractor co-ordination. You'll also ensure that site diaries/records and kept updated and any potential issues are flagged and resolved.

In addition to having prior knowledge of residential conversion schemes, the usual SMSTS (or possibly SSSTS) & First aid at work will be required together with good communication, excellent H & S awareness and a willingness to lead from the front.

This is a short term contract of circa 6 weeks starting ASAP so if you're keen to know more, have the necessary skills and qualifications and are within commuting distance to Plymouth
