Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a Security Supervisor to direct and support a Shift Team of security officers at Springfield Quay, Glasgow. The role requires a can-do attitude, flexibility, and proven leadership in high-profile locations.

You will manage a fast-paced shift, ensuring safety, asset protection, and compliant operations. The position features a 60-hour weekly shift pattern and competitive pay, with comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams within ABM's Facilities

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety for all ABM employees and third parties.
• Participate in succession planning and ongoing performance management.
• Safeguard assets including people, buildings, and information.
• Oversee the delivery of Control Room services.
• Complete staff administration, wages, holidays, and appraisals.
• Collaborate with wider Facilities teams across functions.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication and strong IT usage.

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 on 2 off 60 hours per week

PAY RATE: £15.07 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Your responsibility as a Security Supervisor will be to direct and support a Shift Team of security officers. The role will see you manage a Shift Team of officers. This is a fast-paced environment at a high-profile location. We are looking for an experienced Team Lead, who has a can-do attitude, is flexible, with excellent communication skills, that can demonstrate a proven track record of enthusing and leading Teams towards a common goal, within high profile locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Health & Safety of all ABM employees and third parties who may be affected by work activities carried out within specific remit
• Actively participating in the development of succession planning and ongoing performance management
• Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings, and information
• Oversee the delivery of Control Room services
• Completion of staff admin, wages, holidays, appraisals
• Cross functional working with the wider Facilities teams
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Good IT Skills
• Positive mindset, team player, can do attitude
