Job summary

ABM is recruiting a Security Officer at The Dolphin Centre, Poole. You will support site operations, ensure safety of customers, buildings and personnel, and handle routine security duties with a professional, timely approach.

The role requires SIASecurityLicence – SG or DS, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a team. 4 on 4 off shifts and a competitive pay rate apply. Benefits include health and wellbeing support and employee perks.

Responsibilities

• Operationally support in delivery of the agreed service level.
• Assist the team by fostering teamwork and cooperation and open expression of ideas.
• Support in delivering SOPs and maintaining documentation across the security team.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
• Promote a secure and safe working environment through Health and Safety actions.

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

Supportingthe siteas a security officer& control room dutiestoensure safetyofcustomers,buildingsandpersonnel.

Tosupporttheoperationofthebuildingandensuringexceptionalserviceisprovidedandensurethatallassignedtasksarecompletedinaprofessionalandtimelymanneradheringtoall relevantlegislation.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Operationallysupport indeliveryoftheagreedservicelevel.

• Assisttheteambyfosteringteamspiritandco-operation,theencourage open expressionofdifferingideas andopinionsandensuringresolution.

• Support indeliveryof SOP’sandmaintenanceofappropriatedocumentationsets acrossthe security Team.

• AssistinmaintainingcompliancewithallHealth& Safety legislation.

• Promoteasecureandsafeworkingenvironmentonsitethroughtheimplementationandcontinuous improvementofagreedHealthandSafetyactions

• CompletetherequiredIncidentreportsintheevent ofanincident,focusingonqualityandtimelyreporting.

• Ensurethat any complaints aredealtwithin aprofessionalandtimelymanner.

• Toestablishandmaintainsatisfactoryrelationshipswithindividualsat alllevelswithintheCompany andtheClient organisation.

• Ensurethat allequipmentprovidedtoassistsecurity isfullyoperationalwithany issuesreported.

• Clientliaison,workingcloselywiththeCentre Management Team and Security Supervisor.

• Otherday-to-dayresponsibilitiesasdictatedby circumstancesandtheneeds ofthebusinessandclient.
