We are currently recruiting for a Full-time Cleaning Supervisor at Dewsbury Arriva Bus Depot, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can-do attitude and have ambition to grow.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our contract sites, ensuring smooth, efficient operations and top-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (B) held for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in managing site operations, including bus, office, and premises cleaning.
• Ensure efficient workflow and maintain quality standards through audits and inspections.
• Manage stock control for consumables, machinery, and other site resources.
• Keep staff documentation up-to-date and ensure proper use of operational documents.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with performance standards.
• Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
• Move and park vehicles/buses within the depot as directed by the allocator.
• Perform fuelling and shunting tasks.
• Maintain overall cleanliness, including bus and facility cleaning and waste removal.
• Conduct visual checks for damage, report issues, and ensure all windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
• Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
• Fulfil additional site duties as per General Service Operative (GSO).
• Deliver timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites.

The Role

As a Site Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our contract sites, ensuring smooth, efficient operations and top-quality service delivery. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to support and lead our on-site teams, ensuring a high standard of service for our clients and maintaining a productive, motivated team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the Operations Manager in managing site operations, including bus, office, and premises cleaning.
• Ensure efficient workflow and maintain quality standards through audits and inspections.
• Manage stock control for consumables, machinery, and other site resources.
• Keep staff documentation up-to-date and ensure proper use of operational documents.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with performance standards.
• Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
• Moving and manoeuvre vehicles/ buses within the depot, following instructions from the allocator and parking according to the parking plan.
• Performing fuelling and shunting tasks.
• Maintaining overall cleanliness, including bus and facility cleaning, waste removal.
• Conducting visual checks for any damage, reporting issues, and ensuring all windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
• Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
• The role will also have additional site duties in line with General Service Operative (GSO)
• Delivering timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites.
• Full UK car (B category) driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years
