Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join a leading heavy industrial manufacturing organisation in the South West of England and South Wales. You will set out piling works, interpret technical drawings and manage site records, ensuring precise alignment of piles and foundations.

The role demands CSCS and site certifications, strong drawing interpretation, basic AutoCAD and Excel skills, plus a UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay away as required.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and relevant site certifications.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• UK Driving Licence.
• Must live around the South West of England or South Wales area with some travel and stayaway.

Responsibilities

• Setting out piling works including CFA, driven piles and Precast Foundations.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Accurate positioning and alignment of piles and foundations.
• Maintaining site records and quality documentation.
• Conducting site-surveys and producing as-built drawings.
