Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a leading heavy industrial construction project in the South West of England and South Wales. The role focuses on accurate setting out for piling works and interpreting complex drawings to ensure correct alignment of CFA, driven piles and precast foundations.

You will maintain meticulous site records, produce as-built drawings and support survey teams on multiple sites with travel and stayaway as required.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out for piling or groundworks.
• CSCS card and relevant site certifications.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel with stayaways.

Responsibilities

• Set out piling works including CFA, driven piles and precast foundations.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Position and align piles and foundations accurately.
• Maintain site records and quality documentation.
• Conduct site surveys and produce as-built drawings.
