Job summary

ABM in Bracknell is hiring a Site Services Duty Manager to oversee cleaning, waste management and security teams at The Lexicon site. You will ensure service quality, safety and customer experience while driving continuous improvement and cost-effectiveness.

Candidates should have proven supervisory or managerial experience in facilities management or related environments, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid health and safety background.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within facilities management, retail operations, hospitality, or customer service-focused environments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Experience in resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-functional team across cleaning, waste management, and security personnel.
• Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and guest experience; handle inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Implement improvements based on customer feedback.
• Ensure effective delivery of cleaning, waste management, and security services across the site.
• Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards and coordinate with other departments for seamless operations.
• Oversee incident response and emergency procedures; review and update plans regularly.
