Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a on-site customer support role at Aldermaston to supply BOC products and services to end users, supporting the On Site Customer Manager in driving profitable growth.

You will handle order processing in SAP, deliver to point of use, coordinate site activities with internal teams, and help maintain inventory and customer relationships to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BOC products and services including gases, equipment and safety products.
• Experience with safe operating procedures in manual handling environments.
• Must have a full clean driving licence and appropriate licences where required.
• Experience processing transactions in SAP.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supply BOC products and services to end users on key customer sites, supporting profitable growth at Aldermaston.
• Perform order processing and delivery receipting of gas and related products in SAP.
• Deliver to point of use within the customer portfolio and support site operations, possibly driving vehicles or operating equipment.
• Coordinate BOC activities on site with local supply branches and internal teams.
• Assist in achieving revenue and profit targets through retention and new business development.
• Assist in inventory management on the customer site to minimise run outs and costs.
• Resolve customer queries to ensure timely payments and achieve debt targets.
• Maintain effective customer relationships and report safety, health and environmental concerns.

Job description

• In this role, you will supply BOC products and services to end users on key customer sites and support the On Site Customer Manager in achieving profitable growth - this role will be working at AWE, Aldermaston.


• You will maintain safe working environment (in line with On Site Customer Manager’s objectives)
  Undertake order processing and delivery receipting of gas and related products in SAP


• Furthermore, you will deliver to the point of use within a prescribed customer portfolio compressed gas cylinders, cryogenic liquids, gas equipment, safety products or any other element of the BOC product service offering, which may include driving a truck, pallet vehicle or Cryospeed vehicle or operating a fork lift truck


• Additionally, you will support the On Site Customer Manager in coordinating BOC activities on site with the local area supply branches, DPC, SCC, CSC, Cryospeed, Special Products and ISS Gas & Gear


• You will asssist the On Site Customer Manager in achieving the required revenue and profit targets through retention of the customer business portfolio and the acquisition of new and competitor business


• Also support the achievement of KPI’s and service levels contained within the customer agreement
  You will assist in managing the inventory on the customer’s site at the most cost efficient and effective levels ensuring customer ‘run outs’ of product


• You will provide assistance in resolving customer queries and issues to ensure prompt, regular payment and attainment of prescribed debt targets


• Also, you will maintain effective customer relationships with users of BOC products
  and services on the customer’s site


• You will identify and report any safety, health, environmental concerns on the customer’s site and operate within the customer and BOC’s safety guidelines


• And lastly, you will report any competitor activity identified on the customer’s site

What makes you great

• You have a knowledge of BOC products and services including industrial, medical and special gases, bulk liquids and Cryospeed, hard goods and safety products


• You have experience of safe operating procedures in a manual handling environment


• Additionally, you have full clean driving licence and appropriate categories where required licence


• Experience of processing transactions in SAP


• You have excellent customer relationship and communication skills


• And lastly, GCSE level of education is required for this role
