Your new company: Specialising in the FMCG sector, this client offers a diverse role within a company that operates within a booming industry. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, working within a large, busy manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for responding to breakdowns and maintaining the mixing department, as well as all site services and infrastructure.

What is on offer for the Site Services Engineer:

• £42k salary
• Day shifts (Monday to Friday)
• Commutable from Bolton, Bury, Wigan, Blackburn, Manchester, and Liverpool
• FMCG manufacturing business

Job Requirements for the Site Services Engineer:

• Provide technical support across the mixing plant and site service departments
• Supporting with maintaining all site utilities including building systems, access control, CCTV, boilers, plumbing, compressors, pumps, valves, filters, mixing plant, and infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, compressed air, water, gas, electrical systems)
• Responding to breakdowns and reactive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process

Person Requirements for the Site Services Engineer:

• 18th Edition
• Time-served Site Services Engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g., HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast-paced and challenging working environments
• Working knowledge of building maintenance systems/CMMS
• Plumbing
• Experience within highly automated environments
