Job summary

Noble Foods is seeking an experienced Site Services and Facilities Engineer at our Leicester site to keep operations safe, efficient and reliable. You will maintain critical utilities, facilities and infrastructure, aiming for maximum plant uptime while upholding food safety and health & safety standards.

You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site services, manage contractors, and drive continuous improvement to enhance reliability and OEE in a fast-paced food manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
• Experience maintaining industrial utilities and site services.
• Strong fault-finding skills with electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience managing contractors and working with permit systems.
• Computer literate with CMMS and Microsoft Office experience.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site services and facilities.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimising downtime and supporting production performance.
• Maintain key utility systems including boilers, compressors, refrigeration, water treatment, effluent plant, pumps, and associated services.
• Manage contractors on site, ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements.
• Complete PPM activities, engineering records, and work orders through the CMMS system.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability, efficiency, and OEE.
• Monitor chemical and water treatment systems to ensure compliance.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and environmental performance.
