Job summary

Noble Foods is seeking an experienced Site Services and Facilities Engineer at our Leicester site to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will maintain utilities, facilities, and infrastructure, supporting food safety and health and safety standards.

You will lead planned and reactive maintenance, manage contractors, perform CMMS-driven work orders, and contribute to continuous improvement to boost uptime and OEE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
• Experience maintaining industrial utilities and site services.
• Strong fault-finding skills with electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience managing contractors and working with permit systems.
• Computer literate with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site services and facilities.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimising downtime and supporting production performance.
• Maintain key utility systems including boilers, compressors, refrigeration, water treatment, effluent plant, pumps, and associated services.
• Manage contractors on site, ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements.
• Complete PPM activities, engineering records, and work orders through the CMMS system.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability, efficiency, and OEE.
• Monitor chemical and water treatment systems to ensure compliance.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and environmental performance.
