Job summary

Associ8 Solutions Ltd. is seeking a proactive Site Services Engineer to join its busy manufacturing operations in the UK. You will maintain and improve boilers, compressors, HVAC, steam and water systems, and ensure reliable utilities to production lines.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will execute planned and reactive maintenance, drive efficiency improvements, support compliance activities, and collaborate with contractors on upgrades and projects, while keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained engineer with hands-on maintenance skills.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities in site services.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site services equipment.

We're recruiting for a Days-Based Site Services Engineer to join a busy engineering team, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of all site utilities and infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering professional looking for a varied role with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, compliance and continuous improvement.

The Role

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving key site services equipment to support production and business operations.

• * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on site services equipment
• * Maintaining steam, heating, compressed air, water, refrigeration and HVAC systems
• * Monitoring utility performance and driving efficiency improvements
• * Supporting statutory compliance and ensuring all equipment meets regulatory requirements
• * Working with contractors and external service providers on planned projects and maintenance activities

About You

We're looking for a proactive engineer who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in maintaining high engineering standards.

• * Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification
• * Experience working within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or industrial environments
• * Knowledge of site services and utilities including boilers, compressors, refrigeration, HVAC, steam and water systems
• * Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
• * Understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements
