Role Overview

Manage security operations at an important BAE Systems Digital Intelligence site in Gloucester. Implement security policies, provide operational support, and ensure compliance with legislative and company standards. Take ownership of site security 24/7, liaising with stakeholders and managing security infrastructure and personnel.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for security issues and accreditation.
• Ensure adherence to UK legislation and company policies.
• Conduct security awareness training.
• Manage AACS, IDS, CCTV systems.
• Respond to security incidents and investigate as needed.
• Escalate risks to management.
• Collaborate with UK Security team and IT Security team to maintain network security.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with UK Government Security frameworks (e.g., GovS 007, JSP 440/441/490, Information Assurance Standards).
• Experience with Physical Security Management Systems.
• Previous experience as a Site Security Controller.
• Strong prioritization, discretion, and communication skills.
