Join an award-winning, independent multidisciplinary consultancy firm as the new Environment and gain valuable experience and training in the environmental sector. As the newest Environmental Project Manager, you'll be learning under a highly experienced company partner, gaining insight into 20 years of industry experience and practice. Joining their Bristol office, you will support a variety of projects across the built & natural development sectors, including education, housing, infrastructure, and large-scale regenerative developments. You'll have the chance to work with multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with noise & air quality specialists, planners, architects, ecologists, sustainability consultants, and others.
As the new Environmental Project Manager, you will work with the senior team, reviewing technical and non-technical reports, assessing data, and conveying that information to non-technical professionals such as clients and stakeholders.
You will also prepare plans, including environmental construction traffic and waste management plans, as well as sustainability statements for projects.
Additionally, you'll develop your project management skills by creating timelines and budgets, organizing subcontractors, and coordinating resources.
You will be encouraged to pursue your professional development through learning key software such as GIS and CAD (QGIS and AutoCAD) and obtaining memberships with relevant bodies like IEMA, CIWEM, or IES.
