Job summary

Amey Ltd is seeking a Pre-Site Technician to join our team at the Gailey depot (ST19 5PR). The role focuses on pre-work inspections to ensure a ‘right first time’ completion rate and effective planning for materials and orders.

Standard hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working options including hybrid, part-time and flexible patterns. We welcome diverse candidates and offer development through training.

Qualifications

• CITB Site Safety Management or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card required.
• Organised and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan materials, orders, job readiness and arrange advance signing.
• Ensure work can be carried out safely in line with current legislation and environmental/noise rules.
• Check that work can be carried out safely according to TM layout.
• Ensure risk assessments and method statements are available and SHARC permit prepared.
• Liaise with OCR controller, data controller and supervisors to complete works efficiently.
