Job summary

WLG in Northwood, United Kingdom, is seeking a dedicated project coordinator to act as the focal point for incoming project-manager queries and to analyse local support needs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or 2+ years of progressive project-management experience.
• Experience defining and completing small to medium projects within cost, timescale and quality.
• Prior work as a project manager with plans, funding estimates, contracting requirements, reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with engineers and managing on-site contractors.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for incoming queries from external project managers, and analyse what local support, planning and scheduling each one needs.
• Coordinate and facilitate all project-related management activity to the applicable policies and procedures.
• Support project managers in meeting milestones, and support cost, technical and workforce assessments for current and emerging requirements.
• Build and maintain project documentation, version control, agendas, minutes, action trackers and lessons learned.
• Work with the technical coordination officer on assigning technical support, and keep close contact with engineers on other sites.
• Help maintain a portfolio that plans, monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against project budgets.
• Support risk management and advise the lead project managers on it.
• Manage on-site contractors supporting local project delivery.
• Represent the unit at committees, steering groups, boards, conferences and project working groups.
• Run quality assurance so deliverables meet the agreed standards.
