Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Site Operative to maintain Training Estate facilities, including cleaning accommodation blocks and caring for buildings and grounds to support Armed Forces training. A positive, can-do attitude is valued and no previous experience is required.

Role requires flexibility, basic IT use, documentation skills, and a valid UK driving licence due to multiple sites (Halton, Holcombe Moor Training Area, Ambleside).

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Ability to complete documentation and record data.
• Basic IT skills including use of a tablet.

Responsabilités

• Look after the camp’s general cleanliness and ensure premises are fit for purpose.
• Clean offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks (ablutions, showers, etc.).
• Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming.
• Assist with general building maintenance.
• Carry out basic grounds maintenance.
• Complete relevant documentation using IT and paper systems.
• Take on additional tasks as needed.

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00, Fridays 07:30 - 15:00 with the occasional weekend working. Hours to be discussed at Interview.

What You’ll Do

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• General building maintenance
• Basic grounds maintenance
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
• Must be Agile as responsible for three Sites – Halton, Holcombe Moor Training Area and Ambleside Adventure Training Hut.
