Job summary

Veolia is hiring at Siemens Energy site in Newcastle for a Waste Operations Coordinator. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £33,100 per annum and Veolia benefits.

You will manage daily site operations, perform risk assessments, run safety briefings, and ensure RAMS compliance. Responsibilities include checking plant and fuel use, reporting defects, coordinating waste collections, and delivering toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• Experience with waste management and related legislation.
• Capable of using Google software confidently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, including risk assessments, safety briefings and RAMS compliance.
• Check plant, equipment and fuel use; report defects and maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate waste collections, segregation, storage, inspections and documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks and maintain training records.
• Act as the main site contact for waste queries and support the Contract Manager.
