Job summary

Downham Feoffees Primary Academy is seeking a reliable Site Officer for a part-time role with a split morning and late afternoon/evening shift. The role includes unlocking and securing the school building and maintaining the site, with potential occasional out-of-hours work.

22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, starting Oct 2026. The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience, health and safety knowledge, ICT skills, and a professional, independent approach.

Qualifications

  • Has knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work.
  • Possesses proficient ICT skills to manage software packages such as IAMCompliant.
  • Dedicated and reliable with ability to work under own initiative.
  • Maintains high professional standards and safeguarding awareness.

Actual Salary: £16,055 - £17,390 (Grade 6, Points 7-12) Meridian Trust Support Salary Scale

We have a great opportunity for a reliable, dedicated part-time Site Officer to join our supportive, friendly team at Downham Feoffees Primary Academy. This post involves a regular morning and late afternoon/early evening shift at the school including unlocking/securing the school building plus general maintenance and upkeep of the school site. There may be an element of out of hours work, on occasions. Proficient ICT skills would be an advantage as a variety of computerised software packages are used to manage health and safety compliance.
