Job summary

Greater Peterborough UTC is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Trust Accountant by processing and preparing accounting data. The role includes monthly supplier payments, payroll administration, and balance sheet reconciliation within a dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have accounting/administrative experience, a full driving license, and familiarity with accounts payable/receivable and PSF accounting software. 25 hours per week with hours to be confirmed.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an administrative or accounting environment.
  • Must have a full valid driving license and access to their own transport.
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable/receivable in conjunction with PSF or equivalent accounting software.
  • Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines effectively whilst maintaining high attention to detail.

Vacancy for Finance Officer

Salary: Meridian Trust Support, Grade 7, point 12-19

Hours of work: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (days and working hours to be confirmed with the successful candidate.)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our expanding team as a Finance Officer. This role will assist the Trust Accountant in supporting, processing, and preparing accounting data within the Trust. This is a dynamic role with responsibility for a variety of tasks from monthly supplier payments and payroll administration to reconciliation of the balance sheet and plenty more between.
