Job summary

Norwich Road Academy is seeking a Site Officer to join our team, supporting the day-to-day maintenance of a thriving primary school in Thetford. You will play a key role in maintaining safe facilities and providing practical support to the academy community.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with salary £25,583 - £25,989 per annum. A good standard of English and Maths, plus relevant maintenance experience, are essential.

Qualifications

  • Good standard of English and Mathematics
  • Previous experience within a maintenance role
  • Technical or vocational qualification in relevant subject
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desirable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance
  • Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.
  • Support the wider academy community with day-to-day maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
