Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site operations at our Reading projects. You will coordinate construction activities, manage day-to-day site tasks, and ensure RAMS compliance while liaising with stakeholders to maintain schedule and budget.

The role requires an HND in engineering/project management, water treatment experience, and safety qualifications such as IOSH/SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid. This position is on-site and offers the opportunity to drive safety and quality across the

Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment industry (non-infrastructure) large scale projects.
• Relevant safety certifications (IOSH or SMSTS).
• CSCS Management Card is required.
• First Aid qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mobilisation and demobilisation of the worksites.
• Coordinate construction activities to meet schedule and budget.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and briefings, ensuring RAMS compliance.
• Act as key onsite contact for stakeholders, clients, and partners.
• Ensure timely ordering and supply of plant and materials.
• Check drawings/quantities for accuracy.
• Promote safety and delivery quality standards.
• Plan and monitor activities for safety, time, and quality.
• Report and resolve site non-conformities.
• Manage costs and control budgets.
• Forecast supervision and direct labour across sites.
• Own overall accountability for worksites.
