Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Site Manager to lead mobilisation and day-to-day operations on water treatment projects. The role is on-site in Sheffield, United Kingdom, coordinating construction activities to meet schedule and budget while acting as the main contact for clients and suppliers.

Ideal candidates hold an HND in engineering or related field and safety certifications (IOSH/SMSTS, CSCS). RAMS, safety, and quality must be upheld with strong cost and labour management across sites.

Qualifications

• HND in engineering/project management related qualification.
• Experience within the water treatment industry (non-infrastructure) large-scale projects.
• IOSH or SMSTS Safety Management certification.
• CSCS Management Card.
• First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Mobilisation and demobilisation of the worksite.
• Coordinate and control construction activities to meet schedule and budget.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise staff; prepare RAMS and ensure compliance.
• Serve as key onsite contact for project stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
• Ensure timely ordering of plant and materials.
• Check drawings and quantities for accuracy.
• Promote safety and delivery quality; plan and monitor activities for safety, time and quality.
• Report and resolve any site non-conformities.
• Manage costs and controls; forecast and manage supervision and direct labour.
• Own accountability for worksites.
