Job summary

WPS is seeking a proactive Site Manager to deliver a planned social housing refurbishment programme across Wolverhampton. You will work in a two-site-manager team to ensure quality, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction on occupied properties.

The role requires managing subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers on site, with inspections, progress reporting, and handover activities. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and a full UK driving licence are expected; housing refurb experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management of refurbishment programmes.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practice.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in live residential environments.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day delivery of planned refurbishment works within occupied social housing properties.
• Ensuring works are aSafe, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Overseeing subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers on site.
• Conducting site inspections, quality audits, and compliance checks.
• Monitoring programme performance and achieving milestones.
• Building relationships with residents, client reps, and stakeholders.
• Managing health and safety requirements and promoting a positive safety culture.
• Coordinating materials, labour, and resources to maintain efficiency.
• Supporting resolution of site issues and customer concerns.
• Completing site reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
