WPS is seeking a proactive Site Manager to deliver a planned social housing refurbishment programme across Wolverhampton. You will work in a two-site-manager team to ensure quality, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction on occupied properties.
The role requires managing subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers on site, with inspections, progress reporting, and handover activities. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and a full UK driving licence are expected; housing refurb experience is a plus.
We are looking for a proactive and driven Site Manager to join our team delivering a planned social housing refurbishment programme across the Wolverhampton area. Working as part of a two Site Manager team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of planned improvement works to occupied properties. The programme is structured to ensure efficient project delivery, with one Site Manager focusing on the early stages of works through to the mid-point of the programme, while the second Site Manager oversees completion, quality assurance, and handover. The project operates within a manageable geographical area, with properties located within approximately a 20-minute radius of the local office, allowing you to focus on quality, programme delivery, customer satisfaction, and stakeholder management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, long-term social housing contract where you can make a genuine impact for residents while developing your career within a supportive and experienced operational team.
While not essential, candidates currently working as a Site Manager within the social housing sector, particularly on planned works programmes involving kitchens & bathrooms, are likely to be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
