Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is recruiting a Site Manager to lead a large retrofit and decarbonisation scheme across multiple tenanted social housing properties in the Huddersfield, Wakefield and surrounding areas. You will manage solar panel and air source heat pump installations while upholding quality and safety on site.

The role requires a strong background in social housing refurbishment, PAS regulations, and relevant site safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing refurbishment and decarbonisation projects.
• Knowledge of PAS regulations and compliance requirements.
• Air Source Heat Pump knowledge or retrofit experience preferred.
• Relevant safety certifications and on-site safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Embed client requirements into on-site delivery and ensure quality from start to finish.
• Liaise regularly with the client and act as company representative on site.
• Manage health and safety, programme, and planning of all works.
• Ensure projects stay within budget, timescales, and quality standards.
• Oversee in-house staff and subcontractors; monitor workmanship and KPIs.
• Recruit staff and organise trades and labour as needed.
• Report progress and resolve on-site issues promptly.
