Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead planned works within the social housing sector, specifically focused on roofing and externals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, quality standards, and timely project delivery.

You will lead and coordinate all site activities, inductions, and toolbox talks while maintaining strict records and liaison with subcontractors

Qualifications

• CSCS Managers card is required.
• Valid driving licence is required.
• SMSTS certificate is required.
• First Aid at Work qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site activities related to roofing and externals in occupied social housing properties.
• Conduct comprehensive site inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Monitor project progress against the programme, proactively resolving on-site issues to avoid delays.
• Ensure all works are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records, including reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure smooth site operations and milestones.
• Ensure personnel on site are trained and equipped with PPE and tools.
• Collaborate with the commercial team on cost tracking, reviewing subcontractor scopes, and approving day works.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards and actively support community engagement initiatives.
