Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead planned works within the social housing sector, focusing on roofing and externals. The role requires day-to-day site management, safety, quality and timely delivery, with coordination across internal teams and subcontractors.

You will maintain site records, run inductions and toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site activities related to roofing and externals in occupied social housing properties.
• Conduct site inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to maintain safety and compliance.
• Monitor progress against programme and resolve on-site issues to avoid delays.
• Ensure works meet contractual, regulatory, and safety standards and are delivered to high quality.
• Maintain accurate site records including reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and operatives for smooth operations and milestones.
• Ensure personnel on site are trained and equipped with PPE and tools.
• Collaborate with commercial team on cost tracking and subcontractor scopes.
• Support community engagement initiatives and uphold customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site activities related to roofing and externals in occupied social housing properties.
• Conduct comprehensive site inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Monitor project progress against the programme, proactively resolving any on-site issues to avoid delays.
• Ensure all works are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet all contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure smooth site operations and project milestones are met.
• Ensure all personnel on site are properly trained and equipped with appropriate PPE and tools.
• Collaborate with the commercial team on cost tracking, reviewing subcontractor scopes, and approving day works.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards and actively support community engagement initiatives.
