Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Manager with a background in Retail or Petrol forecourt management.

This role requires someone who can inspire and engage a team to achieve high standards while creating a positive working environment.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the store
2. Ensuring effective communication so all staff are aware of current and future plans and are working towards their personal and the group's development
3. Managing staff, conducting performance reviews, managing staff rotas, and related tasks (Managing approximately 12 staff)
4. Maintaining the highest standards of customer service
5. Handling EPOS, till operation, and banking
6. Taking responsibility for fire safety, health and safety, excluding manufacturing processes in the main plant
7. Overseeing stock control, profit and loss management
8. Ensuring store merchandising is current, well-presented, and maintained in cleanliness and presentation standards

Required experience includes:

1. Experience managing teams across multiple processes and departments in a retail or trade environment
2. A proven track record of achieving results in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
3. The ability to lead a team with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
4. Strong computer, IT literacy, and numeracy skills
5. A 'hands-on' approach and a 'can-do' attitude
