Job summary

Adaston is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver passive fire protection projects across the South of England. You will oversee site operations, coordinate teams and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will lead installation teams, manage client communications, and maintain regulatory compliance on occupied or complex buildings, including healthcare, housing, and education sites.

Qualifications

• Holds qualifications in passive fire protection and/or fire door removal/installation.
• Proven experience managing site or project delivery on occupied/complex buildings.
• Experience supervising multiple operatives and subcontractors on active sites.
• Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver passive fire protection projects, focusing on fire stopping, safely, on programme, to required quality and budget.
• Coordinate daily site operations to ensure safe, timely, quality delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with Operations Manager and team to support programme.
• Produce regular progress reports and site updates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Lead installation teams on site, promoting workmanship and safety.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Identify and escalate any issues impacting programme, quality or cost.
