Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Site Manager to deliver a 1.2 million retail fit-out project in Oxford. You will report to a visiting contract manager and be responsible for sequencing, trade management, inductions, permits, toolbox talks, and ensuring H&S on site.

The role requires strong leadership of subcontractors, coordination of MEP services, and maintaining programme deadlines for a fast-track retail build.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS-Black Card, First Aid are essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

I am currently in need of a Site Manager to manage a 1.2 million retail fit out project in Oxford.

The Candidate - must be capable of delivering the project standalone reporting into a visiting contract manager and be able to do sequencing, short term programming, trade management, site inductions, raise permits, tool box talks, work to tight deadlines, influence H&S on site, Q/A etc.

The scope of works includes:

• HVAC installation and commissioning
• Electrical installations
• Data and structured cabling
• Fire alarm and fire protection systems
• Shopfitting and retail fit-out works
• Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
• Health & Safety management
• Quality control and programme management
• Daily site supervision and reporting

We are seeking a Site Manager with previous experience in retail fit-out and shopfitting projects, ideally with experience coordinating MEP services and fast-track retail programmes.

Site tickets required are SMSTS, CSCS-Black Card & First Aid qualified.
