Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking a Site Manager for Newcastle to work with the project team at St James Park. The role focuses on site setup, documentation control, and safety compliance on a live site.

Ideal candidates will have prior on-site experience, SMSTS and CSCS credentials, First Aid, own tools and PPE, and basic DBS clearance. You will coordinate RAMS/SOPs, toolbox talks, and safety plans daily.

Qualifications

• Site management experience on construction sites.
• Ability to oversee RAMS/SOPs and sign-ins.
• Strong safety focus and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Site set up including welfare areas and safety zones.
• Maintain and supervise documentation, RAMS/SOPs and sign-ins.
• Ensure PTW are closed out and risks are controlled.
• Prepare and brief MEWP rescue plans when required.
• Check training certifications and daily toolbox talks.
• Review and update daily/weekly check sheets and fire plans.

Site Manager Newcastle

I am currently looking for a Site Manager to work at St James Park

Working alongside the PM to ensure issues are resolved reasonable practically and all documentation is maintained and well managed.

Ideal candidate must have had experience on site previously

Duties include:

• - Site Set up including welfare posters, safety areas ETC
• - Documentation is complete and up to date overseeing RAMS/SOP'S and sign ins
• - Ensure permit to work are closed out
• - Complete and Brief MEWP rescue plans ( when applicable) Risk assessments PTW (permit to work)
• - Check training certification
• - Complete daily tool box talks
• - Complete daily / weekly check sheets
• - Safety critical information is displayed correctly
• - Monitor any hired equipment i.e. lights scaffold fire stands
• - Check fire equipment and update any fire plans
• - Review access and egress areas
• - Requirements:
• - Valid SMSTS
• - CSCS Card in date and valid
• - First Aid Certificate
• - Own tools & PPE
• - Basic DBS
