CDM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee M&E refurbishment works on an NHS project based in Houghton-le-Spring, Durham.

Starting 9th September 2026 for an initial 3-week assignment, the role requires proactive leadership to manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and uphold stringent health and safety standards to deliver quality on time.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
• First Aid at Work Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations on M&E replacement scheme.
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are carried out in line with the project programme.
• Maintaining and enforcing high standards of health & safety compliance on site.

Our client is a well-established Retail and Commercial Contractor delivering projects across the UK with values of up to £15 million. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee M&E refurbishment works on an NHS Project based in Houghton-le-spring, Durham.

This role requires a proactive and organised individual with strong leadership skills who can effectively manage site operations, subcontractors, and health & safety compliance to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
