Wates Smartspace is recruiting a Site Manager to lead multiple refurbishment and maintenance projects, directing site teams and subcontractors to deliver work safely, on time and to high standards.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, motivate operatives, maintain health and safety, quality, and client relationships, and monitor progress with strong collaboration from the commercial teams. This role offers varied projects and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing construction, refurbishment, or housing maintenance projects.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• A commitment to delivering excellent customer and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and maintenance projects.
