Job summary

Wates Residential is seeking a Site Manager who can lead the safe and efficient delivery of a residential build, overseeing a façade package while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You will work with the Project Manager, Design Manager and wider team to drive construction activities and ensure successful project outcomes.

You will be responsible for maintaining site records, coordinating design information, and monitoring programmes to support on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and weekly progress reports.
• Review design drawings for buildability and coordination.
• Manage subcontractors and their design information to ensure works progress in line with programme requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager and Design Manager in producing and monitoring the MIRS.
• Agree and monitor subcontractor short and long-term programmes.
• Monitor progress against contract programmes and support recovery plans where needed.
• Coordinate site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Champion a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
