Job summary

Galliford Try in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Manager for the Morrison Highland region, based in or around Inverness. You will lead site teams, manage resources and ensure projects are delivered on time, to spec and within budget.

The role requires experience in construction, strong safety focus, clear communication, and the ability to maintain high site standards in line with Considerate Contractor’s guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within the Construction industry.
• Positive contribution to behavioural safety initiatives.
• Good communication verbal and written.
• Present a clean and tidy site and have a good knowledge of the Considerate Contractor’s requirements to achieve high scores.

Responsibilities

• Direct labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve plot and project completion on time, to specification and within budget.
• Monitor that Buying and Surveying order materials and subcontract services in good time to meet contract obligations.
• Manage Site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Group Safety Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
• Develop the skills and attitudes of managers to provide a working environment with high morale.
