Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Site Manager to lead a large retrofit and decarbonisation scheme across Huddersfield, Wakefield, Deswbury and Castleford for tenanted Social Housing properties. You will embed the client’s requirements in every aspect of the project, plan and programme works, and manage health and safety while coordinating in-house staff and subcontractors to meet KPI targets.

Essential: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and a full driving licence; retrofit experience and Air Source Heat Pump

• Strong background in social housing refurbishment and decarbonisation.
• Knowledge of PAS regulations.
• Air Source Heat Pump knowledge.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Embed the client’s requirements in every aspect of the project.
• Assist with on-site issues.
• Liaise with the client and act as company representative.
• Champion Health & Safety.
• Programme and plan all works.
• Ensure programme delivery within budget and timescales.
• Manage quality of work by in-house staff and subcontractors.
• Report on progress and recruit staff as needed.
• Ensure KPIs are achieved.

A well-established and rapidly expanding Social Housing Contractor are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The company have gone from strength to strength each year and have an exciting growth plan in place, with a healthy pipeline of work across the North West & Yorkshire region. The company specialise in retrofit and decarbonisation to tenanted Social Housing properties, with a goal to reduce fuel poverty and the carbon footprint. They are looking to recruit a Site Manager to join them to manage a large scheme across Huddersfield, Wakefield, Deswbury, Castleford areas which consists of Solar Panel and Air Source Heat Pump installations to tenanted Social Housing properties.

Responsibilities of a Site Manager

• Embedding the client’s requirements in every aspect of the project, offering the clients added value to give them the assurance that they can trust the Contractor in providing a quality start-to-finish delivery
• Assisting with any problems or concerns on site
• Regular liaison with the client, discussing progress and acting as the company representative
• Managing and championing Health & Safety
• Programming and planning all works
• Ensuring programmes are adhered to and work is completed within budget constraints and to correct timescales
• Managing quality of work being completed by in house staff and sub-contractors
• Reporting and Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
• Ensuring KPI’s are being achieved

The successful candidate must have

• A strong background in the social housing refurbishment sector/decarbonisation sector with knowledge of working under PAS regulations, ideally Air Source Heat Pump knowledge
• CSCS
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Drivers License
• Retrofit experience
