Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Site Manager for Exeter and the South West. You will own day-to-day delivery, coordinating site operations with the Project Manager to meet programme, safety and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has a strong main contracting background, a track record delivering large Design & Build schemes, and holds CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work. A collaborative, proactive approach and sector versatility are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tier One or leading main contractor.
• Proven track record delivering complex construction projects.
• Experience across sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Retail, MoJ or Listed Buildings.
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The confidence to lead site teams and work effectively with clients and key stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine commitment to delivering high standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and resources to support successful project delivery.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established and forward-thinking Tier One Contractor, working on a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects across the South West. With an excellent reputation for delivering complex projects and building strong, long-term relationships with clients, our client is continuing to grow and is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Site Manager.

The business operates across a broad range of sectors, including Education, Retail, Industrial, Healthcare, Ministry of Justice and Listed Buildings, meaning you will have the opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects rather than being restricted to one sector.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of your project, working closely with the Project Manager and wider team to ensure the works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.

You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors and site teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
