Job summary

Londinium Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Site Manager for a growing main contractor on varied education, residential and insurance refurbishment projects in London. You will be on site, running day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors and keeping programmes moving to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate has solid site management experience, a strong practical understanding of the build process and CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications. This is a permanent role with a busy workload.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of the build process and sequencing.
• Proactive, hands-on approach for on-site delivery.
• Confidence managing subcontractors and trades.
• Experience across refurbishment, residential, education or insurance works would be beneficial.

We are working with an established and growing main contractor looking to appoint a hands on Site Manager.

The business delivers a varied mix of projects across the education, residential and insurance sectors, including refurbishment, reinstatement and general building works.

They are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the day to day running of a project and has a strong practical understanding of construction.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage purely from behind a desk. You'll be out on site, managing subcontractors, and keeping works moving.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects, including:

• Managing subcontractors and trades on site

• Managing health & safety
• Identifying and resolving site issues

What We're Looking For
